Local School Wellness Policy

Poway Unified School District is committed to providing an environment that supports and promotes wellness, proper nutrition, nutrition education, physical education, and regular physical activity as part of the total learning experience.  The wellness policy was developed by an interdisciplinary wellness advisory council that included teachers, parents, administrators, health professionals, school food service professionals, and other community stakeholders.
